Are aftermarket pads okay for a Wrangler or should I stick with genuine?

I'm getting my Jeep's brakes done soon and I'm trying to decide between genuine Mopar pads and some of the aftermarket options that are available at a lower price. I've heard mixed opinions on this, with some people saying aftermarket pads are perfectly fine and offer better performance, while others insist you should only use genuine parts on a Wrangler because of the off-road demands and the heavier braking requirements. I've read that some aftermarket pads can be noisy and produce more dust, but others claim they stop better than the factory ones. I'm planning to have the work done by a place I found at https://brakepadreplacementdubai.ae/brands/jeep/, and I'm hoping they can give me some advice, but I'd love to hear from other Jeep owners who've actually tried different options. I do take my Wrangler out to the desert occasionally, so I need something that can handle some heat and won't fade when I'm coming down steep dunes. But I also do a lot of city driving, so I don't want pads that are going to squeal at every traffic light. I'm willing to pay more if the genuine ones are genuinely better, but I also don't want to waste money if there's a quality aftermarket option that's just as good. What's everyone else using on their Jeeps? Any recommendations or brands to avoid? Cheers.
